Range Rover Repair in Al Barsha
Al Barsha brings us the widest mix of cars of anywhere in Dubai — every model, every age, every state of repair. What connects most of them is that the owner has already been somewhere else, been given a number they did not believe, and wants a second opinion from somebody with no reason to inflate it.

Diagnosis is not reading a fault code
Table of Contents
ToggleA fault code tells you which circuit reported a problem. It does not tell you what caused it. The difference between those two things is the difference between a repair and a sequence of expensive guesses.
Codes point at a symptom, not a cause
A code naming a sensor very often means the sensor is reporting correctly about something else. Replacing the named part clears the code briefly and the fault returns. This is the single most common reason owners end up paying twice.
Intermittent faults need patience, not parts
Faults that come and go are usually connections, earths or water ingress. Finding them takes systematic testing rather than substitution. It is less glamorous and considerably cheaper than replacing modules until the problem stops.
We test before we condemn
If we tell you a component has failed, we can show you the measurement that proves it. If we cannot prove it, we do not charge you for it.
Bring us the quote
We look at a lot of quotes from other workshops and dealers, and we will go through yours line by line at no cost. Three things we look for:
- Items bundled together that do not need to be. Some jobs genuinely share labour. Many do not, and bundling them inflates a quote considerably.
- Parts replaced on suspicion. If a quote lists three possible causes, it is a guess with a price on it, not a diagnosis.
- Work that is not due yet. There is a real difference between what has failed and what will need attention in a year, and a quote should distinguish them.
There is no obligation. If we agree the other quote is fair, we will tell you that, and you should go ahead with it.
Collection from Al Barsha
We collect free of charge from Al Barsha 1, 2 and 3, Al Barsha South and Al Barsha Heights, and work is carried out at our Al Quoz workshop — a short distance away.
Genuine and OEM parts, fixed price agreed before we start, and nothing done without your approval.
Up to 70% less than the dealer — and considerably more expert
Up to 70% less than the main dealer — and around 30% less than other independent specialists. For the same genuine and OEM components, fitted by technicians who work on nothing else. Every job is quoted as a fixed price before we start, and we never begin work you have not approved. If we open something up and find more than expected, you get a photograph and a phone call first, not a larger invoice at the end.
But price is the smaller half of the argument, and we would rather you chose us for the other half. We are Range Rover and Land Rover specialists and we work on nothing else. A general workshop sees one of these cars occasionally. We see them all day, which is why we recognise a fault from the description before the car arrives, why we know which components fail early in this climate, and why we can tell you when a repair is not worth doing.
What that expertise actually buys you
- Faults diagnosed properly rather than parts replaced one at a time until the warning light stops.
- Manufacturer-level diagnostic access, so we read the whole vehicle network instead of a single code.
- Genuine and OEM parts as standard — the same components the dealer fits, from the same manufacturers.
- Independent advice, because we have no parts quota and nothing to gain from selling you work you do not need.
Cheaper and better are not usually available together. On these cars, from an independent specialist, they are.
Questions we get from Al Barsha owners
I was told I need a new module. Should I get a second opinion?
Almost always worth it. Modules that have lost configuration or communication present very similarly to failed ones and cost very differently to put right.
Do you charge for a second opinion on a quote?
Reviewing a written quote and discussing it costs you nothing. If the car needs to be inspected to give you a real answer, we will tell you what that costs before we start.
My warning light keeps coming back after a repair. What now?
That usually means the original diagnosis treated the symptom rather than the cause. Bring it in and we will start from the beginning rather than repeating what has already failed.
Do you work on every Range Rover and Land Rover model?
Yes — the full range, from current L460 and Defender through to older L322, Discovery, LR3, LR4 and Freelander.
